It is an indisputable fact that the religion of Islam creates a great deal of controversy and discussion among thinking individuals in various societies throughout the world today.
Since 1979, resulting from the United States Embassy take-over in Iran by those of the Islamic religion coupled with the Persian Gulf War in 1991 and the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City, we have witnessed an uprising of an evil, sinister, and wicked system conceived by Satan and hatched in Hell that has as its ultimate goal the destruction of Western civilization.
Islam is a definite force with which we must reckon both politically and religiously. Unless this powerful system of Satan is stopped millions will turn to such error. She is militant, aggressive, and evil. She cannot be ignored; she will not go away. She is strong and is growing stronger every day. Both individually and collectively, as the church of the Lord, we must arise and meet such error. Islam is worthy of our best efforts. We must learn her false doctrines and defeat her advocates upon the polemic platform in the crucible of public debate. The Bible has the answer: thus, we must uncompromisingly stand for God’s truth in opposition to this great error. Both the lives and souls of many stand in peril even during this very hour.
Christ is the only acceptable means to God the Father
The false religion of Islam argues that one is acceptable unto God both by Christ and Mohammed. They argue that both the Bible and the Qu’ran came from God. When one understands the basic message of the Bible one will note that the scriptures are emphatic that one cannot accept both systems as being true. One cannot believe and obey both Christ and Mohammed. Truth is always consistent. It never contradicts itself.
The Bible is the divinely inspired apologetic of Christ
In consideration of the claims of Christ we take note of the fact that he is the only universal character. The totality of accountable humanity confessed to being that of sinners — even Mohammed. Jesus Christ, however, admitted no sin and challenged his adversaries to convict him of sin (John 8:46). Not even the Qu’ran attributes sin to Christ yet it does to all other prophets even that of Mohammed.
As we note God’s divine apologetic of Christ in his revealed truth we find that our Lord accepted worship. While indeed he taught that only Deity should be worshiped (John 4:23-24; Matthew 4:10). In an examination of the scriptures we note that Christ accepted worship (Matthew 8:2; 9:18; John 9:35- 38; Matt. 28:9; John 20:26-29;). From these inspired words we conclude that Christ made himself equal with God the Father. Only God was and is to be worshipped.
Christ claimed to be the only savior for the world (John 14:6). He claimed that his blood would seal the covenant between God and humanity and that his blood would procure the remission of all of our sins (Matt. 20:28; 26:28). The apostles of Christ with great force proclaimed that Salvation from sin is only found in the name of Christ (Acts 4:12).
The apostles of Christ claimed that Christ was and is the total revelation of God (John 14:7-9; Col. 1:15; Heb. 1:3). This was fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy concerning the coming Christ (Isa. 9:6). The apostles claimed and gave adequate evidence that Christ offers reconciliation of humanity back to God (Col. 1:20-23). They consistently affirmed that Christ was and is the completeness of God the Father (Col. 1:19, 29) and gave ultimate proof that Christ within us constitutes the hope of glory (Col. 1:24)affirming that in Christ is found all wisdom and knowledge (Col. 2:3).
If such is the case that all wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ, this leaves no wisdom or knowledge to be found in Mohammed. It is the case that all wisdom and knowledge is found in Christ. Then, it is the case that no wisdom and knowledge is to be found in Mohammed. One may reject what the Bible teaches about Christ being God’s only means for Salvation, however one can never successfully deny and disprove such an affirmation. Neither Mohammed, nor the Qu’ran can never provide anything for humanity that the Christ and the gospel has supplied! The fact of the matter is that Mohammed and the Qu’ran pervert the gospel and God’s plan for humanity and bring the curse of God upon those who follow this ungodly system (Gal. 1:6-9).
The moral glory of Christ, as set forth in the New Testament, cannot be produced by the uninspired concepts of humanity. Only plenary verbal divine inspiration is competent to execute the matchless portrait of Christ. Christ’s relation to sin was that of sinlessness. His relation to God’s law was that of perfect obedience, his relationship to the kingdom was and is builder and King (Matt. 4:17; 7:22; Mark 1:14-15; Luke 23:3). His relationship to providence is ruler and sustainer (Heb. 1:3). His relationship to accountable humanity is that of promised Savior, his relationship to God the Father is that of total fellowship being God in the flesh.
We thus conclude that Mohammed is a fraud and his system is a baseless fabrication.
